Mt.Talamitam
MT. TALAMITAM Nasugbu, Batangas
The same terrain of Mt. Batulao gives rise to its ‘younger sister’, Mt. Talamitam, on another side of Nasugbu, Batangas. Although it lacks the cool breezes and grand landscapes of Batulao, it is a surprisingly wondrous mountain on its own right, with verdant cogon grass during the rainy season, and a challenging, 60-degree trail before the peak.
We started trekking after securing our needs. The start of trail is more descend down to the bamboo bridge made by the locals. You can see cows, goats along the trail. Going to the summit was very challenging. It’s more on assault and cogongrass taller than me. I suggest you to climb here at morning, the first time i climb talamitam it was a morning hike, stars was beautiful, cold and romantic, it is different when you climb here 10 am.. No trees just a long trail and its super hot. You need a lot of water I mean a lot, this is the mountain that made me exhausted.. But the summit is also beautiful.

Dubbed as the rolling hills, Mt. Batulao is situated in Nasugbu, Batangas. It stands at 811+ meters above sea level
Need a break from the city? Mt. Batulao is touted as one of the top favorites for trekking and mountain climbing, most especially for newbies. In two to three hours, you’ll be able to enjoy a a cool breeze and a view of spectacular boulder formations and expansive grasslands. The gorilla-shaped ridge line near the summit is also a must-see, as well as the amazing 360-degree view of Batangas and its neighboring cities.
The trail to the summit is not too exhausting. Safety isn’t an issue either as the area is populated by friendly and hospitable locals. You don’t need to bring a lot on your climb Batulao – just a sense of fun and adventure. So, go ahead and hike at the mountain that holds one of the most captivating scenery in the country..
Hi guys! Let me share with you my realizations from my travel experiences. Every time i travel, i see new beautiful places. Yes we do have lots of beautiful places here in the Philippines which we can be proud of. When you go travel, you will appreciate the beauty of places you have been. It’s like ‘wow’ i did not knew that there are places like this, it looks like a paradise. Although we knew that the Philippines is known as one of the best tourist spot since we are rich in breathtaking places. But unfortunately, some people are using it in a wrong way, just like what happened to Boracay. We, should take care of our resources because it is for our own good also. We should not let what happened to Boracay, happen again. Not just in Boracay, but to all beautiful places we have here in the Philippines.
